Training Jungian analysts around the world, a call for input on the current U.S. administration’s impact on science, and more

In this midweek dose of the Hub Digest, we feature a user spotlight with uniquely varied career experiences, invitations to connect directly with users on potential publications, and a curated look at Hub activity from the past month. To those who celebrate, have a happy Thanksgiving—we hope you always find reasons for gratitude in this season and beyond. 🦃🍂

Hub User Spotlight

Our November spotlight is Ursula Wirtz in Zurich, Switzerland. She holds doctorate degrees in literature and philosophy, meditates in the Zen tradition, and has a multifaceted background as a clinical and anthropological psychologist and a Jungian psychoanalyst.

What are your interests? I am interested in consciousness studies and have been internationally engaged in training Jungian analysts in Russia, the Czech Republic, the Baltic states, China, and Taiwan. As a psychotraumatologist, my work has included providing supervision for war and torture victims through the Red Cross and guiding therapists who support female survivors of mass rapes in former Yugoslavia.

What are you working on that most excites you? I am presently working on a book examining wisdom and knowledge as two paths to understand reality. I also have numerous publications covering diverse areas such as trauma, ethics, soul murder, and the convergence of psychotherapy and spirituality. My book Trauma and Beyond: The Mystery of Transformation has been translated into multiple languages, including German, Russian, Polish, Czech, Ukrainian, and Chinese.

What do you welcome Hub users to connect with you about? Hub users who are concerned with living wisely and thinking about how to make this world a wiser place to live in are welcome to connect with me.

Coffee and Conversations Feedback Survey

Earlier this year, we were excited to introduce Coffee and Conversations, our response to users’ desire for more real-time discussions. We wrapped up our final call of 2025 sharing reflections and gratitude for the year. As we plan for next year’s gatherings, we’d love to hear from you. Whether you’ve joined a call in the past or not, please take two minutes to complete our survey and share feedback on what’s working, what could be improved, and how these conversations can be more meaningful and accessible. Thanks in advance and we look forward to seeing you on a call next year!

You’re invited: Help co-create the future of Nova’s digital communities

After three years of sparking connection and dialogue around transformative ideas in health and flourishing, the Nova Integration Hub will be closing on November 12, 2026. We’re currently in the lab developing new online community building initiatives—and you’re invited to help shape what comes next.

From the beginning, the Hub was created as a communal space that would help break down silos and foster dialogue across disciplines. It has been an experiment in connecting the dots, and with over 42 member-created groups and 654 active discussions, it has been a meaningful gathering place—a space where so many of you have generously shared ideas, wisdom, and inspiration in service of a more integrated and compassionate approach to health and well‑being. That spirit will carry forward into our next chapter.

As we look ahead, our goal is simple: Continue to pilot innovative forums for broad audiences to engage with researchers, creatives, educators, clinicians, policymakers, advocates, community organizers, journalists—anyone who wants to make a change in the world. We want to provide welcoming opportunities for conversation that will foster belonging rather than othering. We want to make unexpected connections that will lead us to the next bold leaps forward in health. Above all, we aim to spark joy and optimism about what’s possible for the planet we share.

So, where shall we go next? Your feedback about the Hub is extraordinarily meaningful to us, so please RSVP to attend one of our upcoming virtual town halls on Wednesday, November 4 at 3 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time and Thursday, November 12 at 3 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time. You may also submit comments in writing via our community listening form.

On behalf of the entire Nova team, we’re grateful for your participation, your curiosity, and your eagerness to share your perspectives on the Hub. Please visit Nova’s website at novainstituteforhealth.org and subscribe to our newsletter for the latest updates.
